Modeling & Simulation in Mechanics (MSM):
The
department of Modeling and Simulation in Mechanics aims to carry out
excellent teaching and research. Our educational mission is to prepare
students for careers involving technological innovation and leadership.
The teaching and research activities in the department
are organized according to both disciplinary and inter-disciplinary
themes. In teaching, we cover the core disciplinary areas of mechanical
engineering including Static and Dynamics of Solid Bodies and Strength
of Materials. Our research activities are dedicated to the fields of
Dynamics and Control, Solid Mechanics, Biomechanics, Thermo-Fluid Dynamics. Modeling and Simulation with
methods of Computer Assisted Engineering (CAE) belong to our core
